In Cobra Kai, Maridueña and Rubio played a mother-son duo, but unraveling news just hit as a recent video circulates on TikTok and YouTube announcing all the real-life couples on the show. The list shows Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser, who everyone already knew about, and it also showed Peyton List and Jacob Bertrand, who fans knew about as well, but one particular couple shocked the viewers, and that was Xolo Maridueña and Vanessa Rubio.

Now this sparked a controversy simply because of an 18-year age gap between the two, and we all know Rubio played Xolo’s mom. Some fans are saying that it’s a rumor and the two never dated because Xolo was with Hannah Kepple, who played Moon on the show.
